It was fun. It was more of camping. The pool, and other activities were closed for the season. We did do the rocks and the blob. Nice place! One thing they need to do is get the main bathroom and showers fixed. The toilets were not working.

Great spot to bring the kids. The deluxe tent sites need some grading. We woke up and realized there was a bit of a low spot where we had our tent so we had some water under our air mattress. But the kids loved all the things to do! Will definitely be back. Thank you!

Great KOA that is well kept! The sisters that run the place are nice women. I loved our site and the big outdoor kitchen area. The only thing I didn’t like is that they charged us an extra night. I think she misunderstood me when I said “we got in late last night”. I meant into the area, not to the campground.

Beautiful clean campground. Staff are friendly and helpful. Tall pines and a nice restaurant with pizza, burgers and ice-cream. We have been here camping several times over the years. The only problem was some guys were playing corn hole after 11pm,(quiet time on weekends),but security was quickly on the scene and the guys stopped. The rest of the night was peaceful.

Reviews are not something I typically do unless they are good, being negative isn’t necessary. But after many years it was time. We are local and have a staycation with local friends for Labor Day weekend every year and have for years. It’s a little get away that allows us to still go to work and serve the tourists in the area. We love that we have the opportunity to have this in our back yard! It’s a great location, it has good amenities. My complaint is we do this every year, and every year the staff is so short and rude. I don’t know if it’s the end of the season so burnt out, working in similar environment that’s not an excuse. It’s never instigated, it’s just a short, rude, impersonal interaction every time at the park and on the phone. Most years a bathroom shuts down, something happens to plumbing, this year the pool heater went out on Sat. All of this is understandable. The poor attitudes are not. It’s become something we just “put up with” which is too bad and a choice we have made. It’s beginning to weigh and dim our excitement to continue on with our tradition here and to recommend other visitors to stay. This is not to deter others from staying but perhaps offer constructive criticism that the KOA leadership and team can build on and improve.
