If travelling to Agnes Waters and 1770, then highly recommend this park. It's tranquil setting and spacious sites, make it preferable to the beach parks, where they pack you in like sardines. The management team are fantastic and although facilities are dated, they're sufficient.
Lovely camp-site, plenty of space. a bit further from beach than I thought. But tge towns of Agnes Waters and 1770 did not disappointed.
I didn’t have a great time here, but that was because 1) I had to sleep on the cold hard ground because I could not inflate my mattress, 2) it was cold when I visited: tops of 19 and lows of 10 degrees, 3) I was annoyed by the sound of vehicles going past on the nearby road. But, the campground was OK and it was unusually friendly; I talked with several couples who were passing through and a long-term resident who lent me a hammer to put my pegs in. The owners were friendly and we had a good chat. Forgot to return my keys to the toilet block -remember this if you visit! A convenient and friendly place to stay.
Nice level big caravan areas, clean facilities. Only drawback is no dump point, you have to drive quite a few km to empty canister.
Great place pretty much in the middle of a small rainforest and nice and quiet. 10mins from the main beach by car but still close enough to see and do everything.... Shower amenities are a bit dated but adequate.
