We stayed at Bald Ridge Creek Campground recently for a couple of weeks. Our experience was great! The campsite was clean and well maintained, the scenic views are beautiful. The restrooms and showers were exceptionally clean unlike other campgrounds we've stayed at. Cindy and all the camp hosts were friendly and helpful. This is our second stay at Bald Ridge and we will definitely be staying here again.
Spent a nice week at Bald Ridge Creek Campground in Cumming GA. A lot of great sites to choose from, each with a waterfront or water view of Lake Lanier. W/E on all sites I believe. Dump station, good and clean bathrooms. Very courteous staff. Plenty of retail within a few miles. I’m sure it’s pretty busy in the warmer months, we just left on Friday, it was pretty chilly and today they closed for the season! A real nice spot, most sites are very large, as well.
Camping at Bald Ridge Campground is our favorite spot. We try to go camping every other weekend if we can. Although it is only about 15 minutes from our house, we always feel like we are 500 miles away (but only 15 minutes if we forget something). Cindy and the rest of her team are GREAT! Always there to help, and kind and courteous when they have to correct us for accidentally not following the rules. There really isn't a bad site in the whole park, just a few with steeper grades than we would like, so we stick with the ones we like best. We already have our sites picked out for 2026. Thank you, Cindy, for a great 2025 camping season.
My wife and I have camped at Bald Ridge Creek several times and absolutely love the place. We were actually scheduled for several more weeks during the summer but had to cancel due to family issues. Cindy was extremely accommodating and understanding in helping us cancel and obtain our refund. We love the entire campground. It is a beautiful place with amazing views and extremely well maintained. The roads are all paved and the sites have an asphalt driveway with a concrete pad which is perfectly level in most cases. Backing the rig in is always a breeze because of the manner in which the sites are laid out. There is abundant space between the sites and all have a large pad, large picnic table, large fire ring and a grill. The pads are covered with small gravel so between that and the concrete pads, rain does not create the mess that some campgrounds experience. If they had sewer hookups it would be absolutely perfect but the bathhouses are convenient and always clean. Simply cannot say enough good things about this place. And if you have a problem with the rules, well, Margaritaville Campground is just a short drive away and a heckuva lot more expensive. Just sayin………..
The campground was serene and quaint. It was definitely some place you can escape all the business but not so far as to drive hours to get to. I do hear drag racers from time to time in the distance still so it may be too close haha. I see A LOT of comments and review targetting Cindy but when I checked in, I saw she was a nice person. She helped a person who booked on the spot to scout out a site before he pays, really accommodating. My checkin was painless, no fluff, no nagging about rules or rules book thrown at me. Our stay was pleasant, our neighbors were pleasant, it was quiet at 8 pm even. Leaf blowing was kept away from where we'd stay and only on empty sites at 10am. But to be honest, we can do without it on the weekends if I'm being honest. There's so many leaves that is just pointless haha. Showers were super clean and warm, tables were clean, grills were clean, site was awesome. All in all, a great stay. Love it.
