"Our recent trip to Lake Jennings was an absolute delight, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. The campgrounds are meticulously maintained, offering a clean and welcoming environment that truly feels like a getaway. We stayed in a beautiful spot with a fantastic view of the lake, and the amentities were perfect for our family's needs. The highlight for us was definitely the fishing. My kids had an amazing time, and the staff was so helpful in giving us tips on the best spots. The lake is well-stocked and a true joy to fish. Beyond that, we spent our days exploring the hiking trails which are well-marked and provide some of the most breathtaking views of the area. Evenings were spent gathered around a campfire, stargazing in the clear night sky, which felt like a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The staff deserves a special mention for their friendly and attentive service; they genuinely care about making sure every visitor has a great experience. Lake Jennings is more than just a campground; it's a sanctuary where you can relax, reconnect with nature, and create lasting memories. We're already planning our next trip back!"

Great day on the lake. Boat rentals are reasonable, bathrooms are clean, camping sites are perfect for fishing at the lake and watching the beautiful sunsets

Went to see the area. This is managed by Helix Water. We toured the camping ground, made a picture in the giant green chair and drove to the boat area and pristine coves where few people enjoyed fishing and a family picnic. Not as suitable as Lake Murray for walking but very pleasant for all those anglers out there.

Great outdoor experience. And still close too town . SD. Beautiful lake and just about every camping site is a great site. City views and lake views. Pick your side. Stunning 🌅 sunrise and sunsets 🌇 . Lots to do. Look up to the stars ✨️ at night. Staff is excellent. Bathrooms are clean free showers. And family restrooms.

It costs 4$ per adult to enter. It’s definitely worth it. It’s a beautiful well maintained area. About half of the trail is on the road. We really went to hike too late. 1 PM. It was miserable. Not much shade and only an occasional breeze. I would definitely recommend to get there early and bring plenty of water.
