It was day 2 of our road trip and after day 1 we weren't expecting much. It was such a refresh to arrive at Double D. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. It was bloody hot but the air-conditioning in the amenities block and the well appointed kitchen made life that much better. Our dog loved the grooming room, where she had a lovely chilled bath with shampoo, conditioner and treats provided. A great escape from the the 40 degree heat. Everyone was polite and we had a quiet night only awoken by the birds in the morning. Would not hesitate to return.

Great park located away from the highway in Peak Hill. Very clean, neat and tidy with first class facilities. Drive through sites available. Also very pet friendly for us caravaners that travel with pets. Highly recommend this park when planning a stop over in Peak Hill.

I stayed in two cabins during my longer stay in Peak Hill for work. They were comfortable, clean and well equipped. The best part of my stay was the owners - they were kind, friendly and accomodating. Being able to change my cabin to suit my needs during my stay was incredibly appreciated! The laundry facilities were easy to use, with baskets and pegs provided. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the region, would definitely recommend. Beautiful landscape beyond town, but the park is great place to watch the sunset too!

We stopped here for a night while doing a 350km cycling loop of the lachlan valley . Room was spacious with plenty of space to park our bikes inside and charge them . Located well off the highway so no traffic noise. Clean and well laid out ,beds were comfortable and the hosts were welcoming. It really ticks all the boxes , we would quite happily stay here again

What a wonderful place to stay. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Peak Hill, it has a number of well maintained powered and unpowered sites, shower facilities and an amazing camp kitchen, fitted out with a BBQ, gas burner, pizza oven, sink, kettle, fridge, tables & chairs, couches, a lovely fire and a water feature. The hosts were also very welcoming and friendly. They lit the fire for us when we arrived and were very accommodating during our stay.
