Great location. Caravan Sites are a reasonable size. Amenities could do with an update to match area. Staff very nice and welcoming. Pool was great.
Not one to leave a review but are stay was terrible the photos on the website are very deceiving. And to find are cabin in such bad condition ants everywhere and the smell of bold. Also to have someone else set up a tent 6inchs from are cabin is just ridiculous My babys food and anything we didn't put back in the car over night was covered in ants. Left first thing in the morning. Would have been more comfortable camping instead of paying $220
Fantastic for a quiet family getaway. We stayed in a cabin which worked perfectly. Best mattresses I've ever slept on at caravan park. We enjoyed the evening and morning cockatoo visits, though a little noisy. The park is beautifully located and provides many great family activities.
I’m not usually one to leave a review however felt it was important to share our experience with the deluxe 3 bedroom house. Travelling for the first time with 3 toddlers we wanted to make sure the kids had a safe place to run around away from cars and in a secure environment. When we came across the 3 bedroom house on the parks website we were instantly drawn to the large backyard with lovely green lawn shown in the photographs of the house. However, when we arrived we were allocated to a house with a tiny outdoor area covered in sharp rocks. There was no disclaimer on the website that the pictures shown may be different to what would be provided. Had we known, we would have opted to stay in a cabin and saved ourselves the additional $600. We also discovered that the doors leading to the outdoor area had only sliding locks and could not be deadbolted or locked with a key, meaning that the kids were able to get outside and access the road through a gate which also did not lock. We were visited by a variety of spiders and insects throughout each room of the house, the furniture and blinds were very dusty and the kitchen sink also had to be plunged during our 3 night stay. The pool and the splash park were fantastic. However we were unfortunately very disappointed with the accommodation where we ultimately spent most of our time.
A great campground for exploring the Barossa Valley. We stayed three nights on an ensuite site. The bathroom was the best we had at the entire trip around Australia– other campgrounds should take note. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and towels were all provided. The children had a lot of fun on the playground. There are movie nights, a water playground, and a swimming pool. The campl kitchen and barbecue area are very well equipped. The only downside was that the pitch itself was a bit small. We only had a 7-meter-long camper trailer, and I wonder how a larger motorhome would fit. Perhaps there are larger pitches available.
