Prospect Hill Camping Ground

Very nice and maintained campground with clean bathrooms and pool. Enjoyed my stay there. Community driven and never met a more great group of people everywhere I went there was a pleasant smile and a hello. Welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to going back for another weekend.

So we sold our last trailer at this great little campground a couple years ago and still held a lot of awesome personal friends from there till now. We could not stay away from all of them at Prospect Hill so my Wife & I bought another trailer and put it in the same park again. It doesn't take long to meet new friends. You just have to be willing to open up to new people and treat them as you would want to be treated. They are not friends anymore they are family, and no matter how much people at the park say the owners can be a nuisance... Just remember that they were the ones who got us all together ❤️. There are your general amenities here. There is a pool, laundry, rec hall, convenience store, lots of trailer park events go on for kids and adults. Hidden gem. First time here. Had no problems with anything. Our 30 amp site along river was huge. People running the place were fantastic. We have booked and coming back in 2 weeks.

Smaller camp site next to the little river. It was clean and has a pool that we thoroughly enjoyed in the heat. This particular night they celebrated Halloween for the kids. Many kids were dressed up and lots of people handed out candy. They had a live band with a cash bar as well. The people I met were really great and welcoming. They armed line a big family and lots of fun. We plan to visit again next summer...there were lots of kids.

Went to my friend’s wedding here a week ago. They rented out the one half of the campgrounds. We camped and stayed the night. Such a great property. Lots of space and a little river running through it. Great for pictures and the grounds were well taken care of. Friendly staff. Make sure to bring cash if you go to the store. They have laundry, a pool and a hall as well. Tim Hortons, grocery store and lcbo/beer store within 15 mins of here in the town of Lucan. Would definitely camp here again.
