This lake and amenities were absolutely amazing. We stayed at an RV campsite and the restrooms were clean and warm. Mind you it’s in cold winter so the restrooms being warm was a big plus for me. The kids park was clean and well maintained. Coming here again!

Nice place to camp. Water access is limited to a few spots. We brought our kayacks on a trailer, tent area was very tight parking. Next time we will stay at a diff spot same lake. A few normal 'StatePark' things like areas unkempt and abandoned. But the areas we had access to were good. Thr modern bathrooms and showers very clean. Be sure to pass on the pit toilets. Good place to brought the family. Not alot of young people parting. Would suggest you bring something to hit the water as shore fishing is limited.

We stayed at the Victor Landing area for one night in our way through. Surprised that there was no notice on the website, or after we made the reservation, that the road was closed between the park headquarters and the campground due to flooding. I wish we had been told to enter from the west side toward the east. The flooding did not affect the campground itself. The Victor campground was very clean and quiet—the camp hosts were doing a great job and were friendly. The campground has a Ramada to rent, sand volleyball court, two sets of showers, and bathrooms. The sites have grills, fire pits, picnic tables, and level concrete pads. We reserved #15 because #14 and 16 were also empty—good thing they stayed that way—campsites 14-16 are really tight, so tight that there wasn’t a picnic table for 16 while 14 and 15 had to share. It should be two sites not three. The showers are institutional, lol, no bench, only one minute per push and not warm. It was very scenic. If we stayed again we would pick a larger site.

Stayed at Victor Campground at Wister Lake State Park for 2 days. Beautiful place. Lots of grass for the kids and dogs. Restrooms clean. Some premium sites with septic, electric and water; almost every site with views of the water. Sites are level, concrete slabs, picnic tables, fire rings. We were in site 10, which had more space around it and more private for us. Some sites are kind of close. So, the only downside is if you decide to take Wards Landing road to Victor Campground from Highway 270 watch out if you have a motorhome or trailer. The hitch-busting gouges in the black top are an indicator of what to expect. They have other campgrounds that would be a bit safer for big rigs.

Great time at the lake. Stopped at the park store and could have been given better directions on getting to the park. Also the person camping next to the bathroom had half of the parking spots for the bathroom blocked. Bathroom was nice. Playground seemed to be enjoyed by the kids.
