We have been camping at lake navarino for over 10 years with a big group of us on a yearly camping trip and unfortunately this will be our last time. my son (16 years old)was riding his small motorbike 20 meters to get it up the hill.(which is unacceptable) And my daughter’s boyfriend 20 years old)was trying to start his motorcycle with jumper leads from his car to get it ready to take them out to go in the bush riding. The owners (Tom and Molly) came up to where my son and daughter’s boyfriend were tending to their turned off motorbike, trying to jump start the battery. My son and daughters boyfriend were completely in the wrong, trying to start up their motor bikes against camp rules but the owners response was not acceptable corresponding to the situation, especially acknowledging the fact they stopped as soon as they were asked to. the female owner snatched and “confiscated” the jumper cables while my son got out his phone and recorded for self protection and the protection of his little cousins. My son wished for his cables back as this set off the owners short temper. The male owner then proceeded to abduct my son’s brand new iPhone that’s he’s been saving up for a year to get. The male owner then smashed it onto the surrounding gravel which unfortunately shattered the front and back including 2/3 cameras. The male owner(Tom) then intimated my teenage son by putting his head against my son and snarled right in his face. I later confronted them but the only way they justified smashing my sons phone and physically intimidating him was that he “had an attitude” This is completely unacceptable and have also made a police report. Which we have video evidence of the entire altercation. We Also witnessed while we were there was congestion on the driveway , the male owner called out to another camp user a retard. These owners should not be running this place, they are unapproachable, unprofessional and hostile. I encourage anyone wanting to stay here to read all the 1 star reviews before booking.
Stayed one night in a powered campsite and it was fantastic. Big bays to easily fit a caravan or motorhome. The check in was easy and wonderful service from Molly. The grounds are clean and the lake down the road is fantastic. Definitely on my list to come back too.
Lake Navarino Holiday Park absolutely deserves a glowing shout‑out. The service is genuinely friendly and accommodating, the kind that makes you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. The entire site is impressively kept, with so much care clearly going into the grounds and facilities. And the location… just stunning. Peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect place to unwind. Couldn’t ask for a better stay. I’ll definitely be heading back again, it’s one of those places you look forward to returning to. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
We chose to visit Lake Navarino Holiday Park (powered caravan site) over the New Year period and what a great choice. We found it to be in a great location with roomy caravan sites and so much room for free camping and pet friendly. Excellent facilities and staff that take pride in their business. Highly recommend 👌
This review is for those that are looking for a bit more detail. We travel light as we are on bikes so like to know what places offer. *Sites were nice and and flat, some spots were a bit hard for tent pegs. *Showers are hot with good pressure *Kitchen is basic, no pots or anything but a flat top bbq, airfryer, jug, microwave and fridge/frezzer. *Firepits on request in the correct season, wood was dry and burnt well. *No picnic tables, only seating at kitchen. But owners were were lovely and lent us their camp chairs so we could sit around the fire. Owners Tom and Molly are lovely and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Great spot to explore the region. We will be back.
