Stayed here for work for a couple months. All I can say is stay away. They are so inconsistent with pricing. They charged us almost $300+ a month for electricity on top of their monthly rate. Mind you we have a newer camper and it a 4 seasons. We ran everything on propane that we had a 100gallon tank to supply which cost us $200+ to fill monthly. We were even gone for 2 weeks and our electric was higher that month even though everything was turned off. Some of our coworkers stayed there and ran everything off Electricity and not propane and their bills were $150 or less. We have since stayed at other camp grounds and our monthly electricity is $100 or less and that’s with running almost everything on Electricity and not propane. They would never show us a bill as to exactly how much electricity we were using the lady always seemed clueless when asked. Not to mention their roads in the camp ground had massive ruts that they never fixed while we were there 5 months. We would have changed campgrounds had we found one close enough to the job that was open through the winter unfortunately we never did. I will never recommend anyone to stay here.
Terrible experience from start to finish. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend. Instead of making guests feel welcome, they go out of their way to make you feel unwelcome. I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, enjoyable stay.
Owner is a rude man who decided that because we were in town to attend a race at Milan dragway that we couldn't stay there. Told us that "Racecars aren't welcome" even though we drove 600 miles to get there. All we needed was a place to pitch a tent and we were turned away just because the owner assumed we would lie to him about working on our car at 2 am. Picture is of our "racecar"
This place is the biggest joke I’ve ever been to. The water smells like rotten eggs. The staff is so rude and unprofessional they don’t know how to treat customers with respect at all. the bathroom is on a 9am to 7pm lockdown like we’re in some kind of prison if your single person or a working class person that doesn’t even want to have any kind of fun and you enjoy feeling like you’re in confinement this is a great place to stay. Worst experience of my life😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
If you want the basic of basics, this is the place for you. It's not for me, it costs too much to not have anything to do and a page full of rules. There is absolutely nothing to do here. The pond is half dry and we were told it's leeches in it, small basic playground, no activities, no band, the bathrooms close at 7p.m. and do not open up until 9a.m. The woman that runs it is aggressive and overbearing. I know they have to protect their interests but she was a little much for me. They are very particular about their gate and how you back up into the sites. There are trees but calling it wooded is a stretch. This is the 1st privately owned campground I've been to so maybe I'm just spoiled by state parks.
