A nightmare to reverse park my caravan because of narrow roads and parked cars / poles opposite. Every third site needs to be removed to expand the parking size per site. Talk about sardines….

Good sized caravan park, cabins, camping all on level sites, some with matting, concrete, and grass, most Good sized. Two lots of amenities, one oldish but both clean and maintained, short walk to town with good selection of eating. Golf club, bowls club, surf club, beach all surrounding van park. Staff friendly and helpful, rates reasonable. On its day one of the best right hand brakes surfing you can have.

Booked the basic cabin. $175 a night. While the bedding was clean and comfortable the bathroom had mould around the shower base and the vanity had seen better days. The cabin seemed to be on a lean and the floor had a definite slope. The fridge barely kept things cold and the kitchen was poorly equipped. Toaster stopped working day 2. No couch or comfortable seating. Would have liked to use bbq facilities but few and far between. Totally over priced for what was clearly a very old cabin that has had no maintenance for a very long time. Definitely overpriced for such poor standards.

Small sites for 18ft caravans, we had a lightpost one side & a fire hose on the other side with a cabin in front not much fun trying to get in & out especially with kid's riding bikes in between cars & caravans. Amenities were old but clean. Walk over the road to the beach was a plus & is dog friendly also friendly staff.

I booked online to this caravan park, filled in all the correct forms. Declared I had two chihuahuas and entered names etc. Received a confirmation email and paid the deposit. Then got lots of emails leading up to our trip, get ready, get excited etc. Two days before I got an email asking to pay the balance. I did and got a receipt. The day before I randomly decided to call and ask for our site number. The lady say’s, oh you have two dogs you can’t come. I’ll have to cancel your booking. Then she tries to tell me I didn’t fill in the forms. Well I must have because she knew I had two dogs before I said anything. She cancelled my booking on the spot. I don’t have an issue with their dog policy. But to not be informed, have my booking go through a month beforehand and then find out a couple of days out we couldn’t come was unacceptable. If I hadn’t rung by chance, we would have driven all that way only to be turned away. The lady was rude and abrupt, and blamed me. Be warned. They must lose so much business. We went to Reflections at Scott’s Head instead where they warmly welcomed our two tiny chihuahuas with no issues.
