Very nice campsite, very clean, I recommend it, we stayed there from 24th to 25th August 2025.
This was a one night stop for us on the way to Alberta from Ontario. I read some of the poor reviews before arriving but must say I was impressed with this facility. Beautifully kept with nice level lots. We were originally booked at a site remote from the office but when they learned I would be using the laundry they were very accommodating and moved us closer to the main building. The restrooms/showers/laundry are spotless and modern. Other reviews complained about the cost of pool and showers. Being from Ontario we often take water supply for granted. I have traveled enough in the prairie provinces to understand that water is at a premium. Other campers were respectful of the facility and their fellow campers. For longer stays we prefer a more unspoiled and secluded experience but this campground is a great spot for family and friends gatherings. We did not use the pool facilities so I can’t comment. We would not hesitate to stop here again.
I had a very fun experience here at Campland RV Resort. I didn't think it would have tent spots to pitch one up here but gave them a call, and sure enough they did. Was probably the best experience of my June, as I never camp to often and the owners were respectfully nice. It's a well rubbed business. And I'd recommend checking this place out, they have a pool of course for a small fee. I'm definitely coming back here again. Also, I'm photogenic when it comes to nature things lol.
We have been having such an amazing summer out at Campland RV Resort. My son is on the autism spectrum and the people we’ve met so far have been so understanding and accepting. Their kids have played with them, the place is always so clean and the owners take a lot of pride in their property. The environment is always so welcoming. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. My kiddo has an obsession with campers so he’s been loving meeting new neighbours often and asking them questions about their campers. The pool is amazing. Yes there is an additional fee for it but they keep it clean and the showers are always clean and the park is always clean. (I’ve read some reviews from people who had some issues but they are clearly not common sense so to clear it up….) when there is a fire ban in effect in Saskatchewan there is no campfires. So be mindful of that when you are planning a trip anywhere. The tenting area and the campers do need to be separated because of where the tree lines are so if you are planning to tent there is an awesome little area off to the side but yes it’s a bit of a walk to the washrooms so just plan for that. If you have kids there is a quiet time in place out of respect for everyone. If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I would. It’s a little hidden gem. We’ve been here for a month already and plan to probably stay one more. It’s only about a 15 minute drive into the city so we come here for the night and go for a swim and when the pool closes at 7 we go back to the camper or join the kids in the park for a bit and then bedtime. We love it! Thank you for having us.
Showers cost $2 per 4 minutes, the first 30 seconds are to warm up. The water temp is controlled most likely to 90 degrees. Site 1A/1B is next to where they dump grass clippings which does have a smell, especially if it rains. They mow the lawn daily with a fairly loud riding mower and for a lengthy amount of time, so take from that what you will. The water from the tap came out white like milk. Also saskatchewan can be rather windy fairly often so if planning to tent here just know it is a large open field and you cannot pitch it on the high point, you are limited to between the tree line and the high ground where the fire pit is. The reason being they use underground sprinklers. There is also a farm down the road that can have a bit of a smell sometimes as well. No refunds, no matter the weather, even if you are tent camping. The nights are pretty quiet with little to no disturbances. The bathrooms can be a bit of a walk if using the tent sites, so don't wait too long and it can be rather dark so have some form of light to guide yourself. Didn't get a chance to use the pool as it was too cold when I went, however there is a small fee per person or family bundles. They have a small shop with your basic needs such as snacks, food, milk, parts, band-aids and such. The prices are low and they should be as the amenities are limited. Personally won't return, and won't be recommending anyone with any kind of special needs as this is not a very accommodating place. The photos are of the washrooms distance from the closest tent site, the grass clippings area, the tent line, and where you can sit around a camp fire but not have your tent.
