I went to visit a friend who is staying there. It's actually very nice and clean. If I needed an RV park I would definitely choose it.
A really nice rv park. For me the lack of amenities like playgrounds swimming pool etc. Is a plus. Large clean sites, modern hookups. Helpful manager. Reasonable pricing.
Spent the weekend here. Beautiful rv park. Very clean, nice big sites. Owner was great to work with. Can't wait to go back. 10 stars!!!
I like Bannister RV Park very much. I moved here 4 months ago. The green areas are beautiful and very well maintained. I have found a friendly and calm community here. A member of the administration visits the park daily. Something I really like is that it is surrounded by nature and the RVs, trailers and campers are not located too close to each other like in other RV parks I visited before finding Bannister RV Park. I'm glad with the decision I made about living here. Also, Walmart and Walgreens are located three and two miles away from here, respectively.
Had lot#37 from 08/07-08/13. Checked out on 08/11. The owner of this Park likes to press buttons to steal people’s money it looks like, from the placing us 20ft away from a highly active railroad track which mind you has no security fencing between it and the park. I’ve got two small children under age 7 they couldn’t even play outside and were also awoken every night at 4:30am with our entire camper shaking as if a tornado was going over us. It’s a shame I’ve had to change my once five star review because I really did initially like this place. The train was the real issue, tried to call and address it but Johnny didn’t answer instead I return back from a day spent with family to a note on my RV asking me to move my camper further upon the gravel on the lot. We were scared of putting it on the gravel because of how unfinished/unsettled the lot was(Maybe it was a new lot) either way we were calling to ask to be moved being we saw a lot of open spots at the front of the park. BTW the ground on this lot was so soft we could barely get our camper up on it, truck tires were sliding and then when we went to move it(we moved it 3 total times in the three days we were there) we could barely get the trailer on the tow hitch it had sunk so much. The loud truck At the mobile home next door at 11am pumping the septic tank was the icing on the cake. This place is a nightmare if you end up in the wrong spot. RVer’s/CAMPERS BEWARE!!!
