London Primitive Trailside Camp Area

Great free campground with a warm shower. Coffee Peddler bike shop in London. Right on the bike trail.

Very well managed donation based campground. Volunteers ensure things are in proper oder. Had the best water fountain I've run into so far at a campground. The shower is essentially a hand pumped tank with a sprayer handle resembling a large sized garden sprayer. You fetch warm water from a faucet outside the restroom, fill up the tank, pump enough pressure, and spray your self down. Works and better than nothing.

Amazing spot!!! Traveling from Maine to California on bike on the rail trail system. It's often hard to find spots to camp that are welcoming. Everyone was very nice. Plenty of outlets, water, a real bathroom and hot water if you want to semi-shower outside. Everything in town is half mile away. Tent platforms too!

Super nice site! 2 elevated pads, 3 ground pads, a hammock area, water, separate warm water for the outdoor 'shower' (sprayer and it works) and full toilets. It is also near a Family Dollar as well as places to eat.

Great resting spot for bikers. Nice benches plus covered seating area. Good water supply and nice clean bathroom. Very nice tenting area under shade trees. Close to town. Thank you Friends of Madison County trails, we'll done.
