Really cute place. Lots of outdoor activities. They're doing some work on the place so be mindful of that. Owner is very nice. I'd give it an 8/10. No heat and the bathroom was kinda far but it's got great things happening. Will visit again.

It is a very beautiful place and the slides a very fun. But what I really dislike is the lifeguard, she does not pay very good attention at all. Because 2 months ago, I went to that beach and there was this slide thing that was for kids only, and I didnt even know. And after I went on the slide like 20 times I noticed, and then she finally blew the whistle at me… even though she could’ve called me a long time ago. Very disappointing, I will not be going to a beach with irresponsible lifeguards.

So recently camped at Winona Lake. We arrived Friday night no signage of where to go. We were stared down as we pulled in , then two friendly men greeted us and showed us our site. At 1st glance I thought of turning around as the front part was mowed and didn't look to bad, but the back part diffrent story. Our spot had some weird overgrown stump thing and the trailer next to us had weeds growing up. I thought we'll We are here make the best of it. Thinking will never return for the large amount of money we paid to stay there. Basketball court weedy and run down. Bathroom shower facilities a tad shady looking. The high light was good internet service and full hookup. The kids enjoyed the lake. So it is my understanding it is under new management and it appears they have been adding new spots. I would instead adding new spots clean up and improve the ones you have. So if your thinking of staying here the pictures on the website are a bit deceiving. If think of going again will do a drive by 1st.

A few days ago we made it down to Winona Lake down near Lima to celebrate Noah’s birthday. It’s ten miles off of 75 and gave us a fun afternoon at an affordable price point. We took all of our food to have a cookout as well while we were there! The water was clean and the perfect temperature! There’s plenty of space to spread out and even with plenty of people, we didn’t find it overly crowded and we had a genuinely great day! Adults: $10 Children: $5 Parking: free! (If setting up shop on the other side of the lake, if you let them know they will let you drive out that way to set up and then move your car back to the grass parking lot! This was a HUGE help!) *they do have a large campground that if you are looking for more than a day, I encourage you to look into if it would be a good fit for your family!
