B careful of what u wish for, I was there for ten years, it was ok, not that great of a place. The owner of this site is all about his pockets, the money that this guy makes off the side, ten dollars fees for a visit if you have friends from the past and charge you for family members, makes money on 50/50 draws, makes cash on over nighters. This guy don't care about his clientele. During COVID times this guy hike the fees over 300 plus, at that time he had about 130 trailers on his site, figure that out. I believe that this person that operates this campground should have a forensic audit done on him of how much money that he's pulled in by not claiming on his taxes. There is really nothing there, plus as I was there he absolutely has done nothing to up grade this place, I just say thank God am out of there would never go back, the owner is only there for himself and only himself, it's so sad. Word of advice stay away.
This place needs A LOT of maintenance work. The “park” for the children is a disgrace , the pool is falling apart and theres pot holes everywhere. When you walk to the washrooms / laundry room - there’s junk everywhere outside ( looks like a junk yard ) Also, cops are constantly being called every other week due to domestic disputes etc . It would be nice if the owner actually made some changes and invested into the park.
We called them it was 8:40pm because we got turned over by 2 hotels. We had our 3 kids in the car sleeping and needed a place for them. Thankfully they let us in even though they were closed because we had our 3 kids. Appreciate this place so much for this. Definitely recommend this place!
My girls enjoy the park and the other children they have met so far I was here over 25 years ago as a teen ages now I have a spot here
I came to just tent camp for the night. I don’t camp but found this costly and not at all nice. It was 80$ to pitch my 2 man tent (myself and 2 small children). I thought camping was circular plots with some trees between each.. but haven’t been in years. This they sent me over to one large clearing where 6+ groups could camp, all facing each other. The ground was soaking wet you couldn’t even walk through it (in late July) and there was garbage and bottles in the fire pits and around the picnic tables. One RV parked on one side. We found a dry enough corner but even had to walk in water to get stuff out of the car. So mosquito infested we couldn’t even get out of the tent in the morning, and we’re all bit up from only being out to roast marshmallows. Thank goodness it was a Tuesday and we were the only ones or we would have dealt with other groups noise and looking at as. We rolled the tent and left soon as we woke because it wasn’t worth getting eaten and too wet to even put the tent in its case. The one good item was the lady was super nice. Really liked her. But not worth 80$ and not a pleasant experience otherwise. Maybe it’s more of an RV park. At least I fulfilled my 5 yo request to ‘camp’.. and it’s done now. I don’t think he’ll be asking to do it again.
