I’ve been coming to this campground for over 30 years, long before it was yogi bears. Now I bring my toddler. This is the worst condition I’ve ever seen this campground in. The pool is in bad need of maintenance, should have been fixed a couple years ago… The rec hall was very dirty, same garbage on the floor the whole time we were there. If they don’t sweep the floor do the games ever get sanitized? Disgusting… There was no instructions for arts and craft time.. just craft supplies thrown on a table, one pair of scissors and 2 glue sticks for all the kids to share. Employees just stood behind the canteen. I felt really bad for the day camp children. Seems like they are stuck in the rec hall all day, they have very little supervision as the staff is to busy talking to their coworkers. My daughter was playing the claw game and got a free game, she was swarmed by 3 girls pushing and shoving over my child’s free game, I had to pick her up or they would of definitely knocked her over, also didn’t get her prize she won. The playground needed maintenance as well, some of the play equipment was broken and in need of repair The picnic basket is lacking food options.. no hamburgers or hot dogs, just French fries in different forms and chicken in different forms, not many ice cream flavours Staff didn’t seem very friendly The blond girl at the picnic basket was sweet to my daughter and the maintenance men were the friendliest! Our site was clean and the seasonal campers were friendly, my daughter loved the jumping pillow

There were some pros, but also some cons. Most staff very friendly, lots for the kids to do. But very evident that the pool was not cleaned enough, same dirty bandaids floating around every day and major wads of hair. Water looked murky. The "day camp" kids are not properly supervised, as the staff are too busy talking to one another to pay attention. One of the children were pulling the arcade game plugs out of the sockets, some were pressing the buttons on the non-day camp kids mid game. They do a light show some nights which is very cool, but don't put your toddler to bed before 10pm because they WILL play Baby Shark and your toddler WILL wake up the second those music notes start.

The WORST customer service. The lady at the front had no personality and was rude checking in. I went back in to look for something she was on her phone wouldn't even look or or talk to us. The lady at the ice cream was ignorant and daw little kids waiting and told them she was closed and wouldn't let them order. When they brought yogi out to do the raise the flag they told the kids to stay away from him no one was aloud to touch him until the end and they had to line up. For being a family friendly camp site. It was not I would recommend going somewhere else. A place that will actually value your business and be kind to you and your children.

I keep forgetting to write this review but this summer was my first ever camping trip with my son who is 3. It was the best camping experience I could of asked for and it's all he talks about and asks when are we going back( we are thinking it will now be a yearly thing). The staff are all amazing mostly teens and younger people but respectful and will bend over backwards to make your kid happy. We stayed I believe 3 nights and by the next morning some staff knew my son by name. The owner was working the front desk and what a gem of a lady that is rarely meet someone so genuinely happy to make these kids smile. Sure the gift shop was crazy in cost for some things but your not forced to buy anything and they don't even push anything at all when asked what we could do at certain times they never once brought up any option that cost money only the free options. Tons of things to do well kept and everyone even the guests were nice.

The staff were friendly and helpful when I called with questions beforehand. Most of the sites are in an open field, but our unserviced tent site by the cabins had lots of shade. The bathrooms were maintained throughout the day and the showers were always clean. So many things to do for kids, and the pool was quite clean for the most used amenity of the grounds! The staff were always present and prompt and willing to help, even the understaffed canteen was on top of their customer service and serving out hot pancakes and the best milkshake I’ve ever had. We will be back!
