We recently (February 2026) set up our RV at Tejas Valley for a week in the San Antonio area. We found this park to be convenient to our events and shopping! Additionally, it was a very quiet stay and the neighbors were very friendly. We would recommend Tejas Valley and we hope to return next year!
Shelly and Greg have made some great improvements. We stayed for a month and never had any issues! Laundry is always clean. Location is also central enough that you can easily get around!
This was a pleasant surprise in a sea of RV surprises. Full hookups, pull-thru sites are available, but gravel. Good amenities, ie pool, club house, laundry room, shower house, two dog parks, and some RV items in the office. Site was well-maintained and clean. Office staff upon checkin was very pleasant and we had an escort to our site. We did have a cat escape through our screen door (our bad), which apparently set off the site manager’s alarm system. I was reminded that all pets, including cats, must be on a leash when outside. Fair enough. Next time one sprints out the door we’ll be sure she straps on a leash first. Overall a decent experience, especially for the price which was $59 per nite and we received a 10% off First Responder Discount. Not worthy of 5 stars, but a solid stopover for a couple days.
This is a great place for a quick stop or a place to park the RV while you explore San Antonio! The staff was very friendly and helpful. On the way, the area didn't look too bad, but I got a little worried I wasn't going to feel safe, but once we pulled in the park my worries disappeared. There's a nice neighborhood nearby, and it's still close to the main attractions. It was quiet, clean, and safe. We didn't have time to check out the club house, but this will definitely be the place we stay next time we're in SA.
We spent 4 days at a premium spot. This pull thru site with full hookups was convenient to the clean, updated bathrooms, dog park, trash disposal and was shaded. The location is quiet, despite being right on busy Pottanco but getting in and out of the park was easy and there were plenty of stores and restaurants around for whatever you need. The hosts are very conscientious and have been improving the park since they acquired it. It was nice to feel appreciated as a guest. There is a mix of short and long term folks and the park is nicely landscaped and clean.
