My first visit to this place went relatively well. Food came out in a decent time frame and tasted hot and fresh. My second and probably LAST visit was the complete opposite. This was on Saturday, November 1st, 2025. - cashier rang up the wrong order despite me asking for chicken instead of beef for my order, and asking for a large combo instead of a small. - the drive through and lobby were packed but not because it was busy, but because the kitchen was taking an extremely long time to complete any orders. I waited over an hour, with majority of the lobby customers waiting on average of 45 minutes to an hour for their orders. The drive through eventually cleared out, being forced to reverse out of the line due to the long waits. - DoorDash and Uber Eats drivers cancelled orders after having to wait just as long My order ended up being wrong, as I did not get the burrito I asked for. Not to mention a mix of hot and cold potatoes and waiting over an hour for my food. Everyone had to ask for an update for their food, and it even took giving the kitchen staff our receipts so that they could see what needed to be made. Lastly, no manager available until about 1230, give or take, meaning a lot of customers left without a chance of receiving a refund or at least some form of proper assistance. All in all, I don't know if the kitchen just wasn't getting tickets for everyone's orders or if they were taking an extreme amount of time to cook even one full order, but either way, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had for fast food. While the cashier did ring my order incorrectly, she was actively TRYING to get updates for orders as she was one up front facing all the angry customers, which thankfully were patient with her since it wasn't her fault that food was taking so long. Might be my last time eating here unfortunately, as I've never such a disorganized restaurant like this.
Waiting in the drive through today for over 45 mins with two cars stuck in front of me who also waited even longer. Assuming the car in front already paid for food, continued to wait. Guy at the drive through was super rude when I asked for a manager he said “he’s too busy” and every worker except one seemed to be on something and had no idea what they were doing. Usually love this place, but will go to a different location after today. My kids were crying and I was stuck there the entire 45 mins because I had cars in front of and back of me. We went to Burger King after finally getting through and they took 5 mins to get all our food.
Went in last night. I placed a moblie order, when arriving they tried to give me 3 tacos out of a giant order. When showing them what I ordered they gave me a bag of random food that was thrown in the bag. Random chicken and beans in tacos with broken shells. Missing every piece of food I actually ordered. Was so disgusting we couldn't even eat any of it nor would we want to with how it looked. Want my $31 back!! Every person in the building didn't get a right order.
Taco John's is usually OK, but stay away from this one!!! Came thru on our way to Glacier Nat'l Park from Billings. Was very hungry. Ordered and paid for 2 beef burritos with extra cheese. Got my bag and asked if the BEEF burritos had extra cheese. The man responded, "You want extra cheese? I Can add extra cheese. And took them back to add cheese. The receipt read 2 beef burritos + extra cheese. As we left and continued on our way (it is a 7 hr drive so we decided to drive and eat), I took a bite and discovered they'd given me beans burritos! Yuck!! On our return trip home a week later I returned to tell them their mistake and asked to have them replace the beef burritos I paid for, with the extra cheese. I also ordered 2 of the same for my husband. They overcharged me by charging for 2×'s the cheese, could not explain to me why the total charge was so high - I figured it out later. They did give me a free large potatoe ones, which was nice, because I starved before, not eating the bean burritos. The 1st replacement beef burrito was OK, but the 2nd was something else! It had lettuce, which I can't eat hot, a ton of onions and no extra cheese! They couldn't get it right the 2nd time! My husband's burritos had no extra cheese, so I was overcharged $2.34. Unbelievable!! And this was with the manager there the 2nd time!!!
I placed an online order for around 50 dollars worth. 4 meals placed the order at 330 for to-go. It wasnt until 4:21 when i actually received the food. When i did receive it the fried foods were soggy with oil and cold. For the price and alotted time i could have been to a sit down and possibly eaten by then. In short save your time and money. Pics just show the inconsistency in portion and ingredients being included.
