Happy Acres RV Park & Campground

This is a very friendly place! Only 4 miles from I-40. The office is under construction so if you reserved a spot you need to call about 20 minutes out and they will meet you at your spot. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Stayed here twice while traveling. Can not say enough good things. Owner meets you at entrance and shows you to site, plenty of room to walk the dogs and one of the cleanest laundry rooms we have seen. Would definitely stay here again.

We had broken down and had to be towed in to the park. Tamara, the owner was so accommodating. She put us in a great spot and when our stay kept having to be extended she did everything to keep us from having to move to another site. When it became absolutely necessary for us to move, she even arranged for her son to help move us since we were without our truck. She was the silver lining to what started out being a very stressful situation. The park is very well kept and everyone is so friendly. We ended up staying 12 nights and although we were eager to continue on our journey we are so grateful to Tamara for her kindness and hospitality.

The Happy Acres RV park was truly amazing—peaceful and relaxing. All of the spaces have a cement slab on which to park and plenty of room between spaces. There is also a wonderful fountain feature in a small pond, with turtles that like to sunbathe on the fountain when it is not running.The park is clean and well maintained, and they are in the process of expanding to include restrooms and showers. They have a laundry room with four washers and four dryers for guests to use. It's peaceful and quiet, and there are a lot of shade trees throughout the park as well as a walking trail. The RV park is located four miles north of Interstate 40 in Shawnee and is easy to find. Definitely worth checking out!

This is a new campground, and despite that it is not yet completely finished, it is still a lovely and reasonable place to stay. It is clean, quiet, has a very nice full hookup area, and the pads are nice and level. The laundry room is ready to use and the showers, restrooms, and camp store are in progress. The manager, Tamara, is especially friendly and helpful, and greeted us with a complimentary coffee mug! Definitely will be returning here again, and looking forward to seeing it completely finished.
