Kimba Free Camping

What a fabulous location and a massive thank you to the community members of Kimba for creating such a wonderful venue for our traveling members. There is plenty of room regardless of what time you arrive. The kitchen is amazing and the toilet facilities are excellent. Lovely and clean but we did notice a bit of a smell coming from them as dusk fell. Dump point also at this location and you can fill up your water tanks. We ate dinner at the local hotel supporting the community. Our fury friends loved the beer garden too. Thank you again. Looking forward to our next stay here ♥️

What an amazing free campsite! Please donate so that it can stay that way. Great and tidy facilities, hot showers for 1 $. Enjoyed our one night stay a lot.

Kimba is one of my favourite free camping spots We stayed here on our way to and back from the West Coast. The toilet and showers are clean and adequate. Great for our kids with their amazing playground. Quiet

Absolutely brilliant. Coin showers.$1 gives you a really good hot shower. Clean amenities. Fantastic kitchen. Donation as run by Shire. Please donate well, not just a gold coin. These places also rely on us spending money in town so spend some if you can. Multiple camping areas. No powered sites or water to connect to campers.

Great spot. Plenty of room, showers and toilets. Bins provided. Big camp kitchen. Very clean. Will definitely come back as a stopover. Thanks so much to the locals for the upkeep. Strongly encourage a donation (donations are available).
