Gulfland Motel And Caravan Park

We had a stopover on our way to Darwin and were stuck for a few days due to flooded roads. Denise was great. Very friendly, courteous, and helpful. I have rarely had such a positive experience with anyone.

The owner Denise is lovely and attentive, did her best to make sure stay was comfortable. Rooms are better than what's offered in Isa by far. Online pictures are accurate, rooms are clean and welcoming.

Stayed overnight here while on a business trip. Comfy, clean, and quiet room that had been newly renovated. Lovely staff that were eager to help. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Stayed at the Gulfland this week whilst in town for work (real estate). Denise takes her role to a whole new level - she is bright and happy and more helpful than anyone I've ever met. Denise informed me that the rooms had recently been re-furbed and they did not disappoint, modern and clean with comfy beds and spacious bathrooms. Great family style motel with room to move around the place, great pool area and quiet nights for a good sleep. It's always refreshing to find a well presented place with great customer service, and this business is doing Normanton proud! Will certainly stay here again!

Denise makes your stay very personable like you're old time friends. Very pricey, however the rooms are newly refurb'd. Beds really comfortable, generous sized fridge/freezer, convenient air-fryer and comfortable desk chairs. Easy, flat walk into town to sight see and have a meal. Pool nice and refreshing with plenty of shade. I like a bit of weight via a blanket, however there was only a sheet on the bed and no quilt in the cupboard. Would happily recommend a stay here if you're after a break from camping.
