Skokomish Park At Lake Cushman

Lake cushman has been a home a way from home. Whenever I have the change to vacation here I know my time there will be worthwhile.

I gave this place a 1 star, and sadly we never even got to experience it. We had reservations to camp there this weekend, however due to a wildfire near by and heavy smoke in the area we had to cancel. I understand there are cancelation fees in place but charging almost 50% to cancel is outrageous. We did not cancel due to poor planning or just not wanting to go, but for medical reasons we can not camp that close to smoke. Yet we were still charged $63.00 to cancell our weekend trip that was $135.00. That seems absolutely absurd. This is not a place that we would want to stay. Pure greed

$25:00 to use the park for the day, plenty of picnic tables and parking. Once the mist lifted it was beautiful, plenty to do in the water. I didn't stay here only day use.

Wonderful place to camp! Lots of trails for biking/walking, a great day use area, lake access, bathrooms with showers (50 cents for 3 mins), an outdoor movie theater that plays movies Friday and Saturday nights and the staff make popcorn!! Crafts in the the morning for kids. A scavenger hunt you can do. A little store for anything you might need or forget. WIFI!!! Yes, the park has wifi! Staff were wonderful and so helpful and accommodating. We will be back!

RV sites can be very tight to get in and out. Love the woodsy camping. Staff seems nice. Very pricey for day use on weekends at $25! Also, I've never camped anywhere with such a late check in time of 3pm! Would be much nicer if it was a few hours earlier so you have more of the day after setting up. And then out by 11am,
