Ok 5 stars for just a simple gravel no frills off 40hwy. Why yes. We just needed a place for the night. Called and the gentleman said just pull into a spot, and then put your cash or check into the red bin. We then went right next door and ate dinner at their steakhouse. Great service, great prices, and good food, then as a bonus they open for breakfast at 6! The old Lonestar Roadhouse is now called Mesquite Canyon Steakhouse, and you can bring in alcohol until they get their license. The place has some road noise, so turn on your fan and all will be good. So a perfect spot to pull off the highway.
Nice place to pull over at with full hookups. I stayed two nights. I was never able to get WiFi working but for $25 it was still good!
Electric and water are good. There is no trash/dumpster, spots are poorly defined and uneven, there is litter, the manager/owner lives on site but provides no assistance and her dog is nice but roams freely and gets curious. This place has potential but there is no effort put back into this park. The rate is now $25/night with no check in or out time. Great for a one night stop but not long term.
Its very basic, just a gravel lot with hook-ups. About 25 sites all $20 per night. You just put your money in the container by the picnic table. Water, electric and sewer. The sites near the restaurant are level, others will need some work. Good WIFI, however its open.
$20/night for full hook ups. Wifi is great. You’ll need to pay at the restaurant next door, very friendly people. Sites are huge. Needs some light cosmetic work but overall great for overnight stays. Traffic next door isn’t that bad if you have a fan running.
