This is the dump station for the five campgrounds that make up the dam complex. Potable water and rinse water (non-potable) are available here. To get to the dump station, take I-80 Exit 244 and follow Dubuque Street N.E. for a few miles. Then, turn right onto West Overlook Road.

I would avoid any campsites ran by a staff that clearly invests only in the RV section... There is not just living in a metal building on wheels when it comes to camping. Facilities are one thing, the cultivation of the land is the point!
