After a long time attempting to resolve this situation reasonably with the owner before resorting to write a review I'm afraid I do need to warn others not to do business here. The owner of this business is running a bit of a scam operation. He is selling illegal insurance policies and filing fraudulent claims when there are damages. In my case, I had my own insurance coverage and declined to purchase the insurance that he was offering. We spoke to my comany prior and informed them I was renting a vehicle from a business, and they assured me that my insurance policy would cover me for the rental. Unfortunately some kids vandalized the vehicle and did a bit of minor aesthetic damage to it. But when I tried to file a claim with my insurance company, it was discovered that the owner of this business had lied about the insurance. The vehicles were not owned by the business and there was not a commercial policy. Instead it's his personal vehicle with his personal insurance, and therefore the claim would have to go through his insurance first, and my insurance would cover whatever his policy did not cover. They attempted to get him to reply for several weeks and he never replied to the insurance agents. I sent him several emails and he never responded. He refused to cooperate with filing a claim. Recently he just ran an additional charge of $1000 on my credit card, and continues to ignore all communication. Because he has the vehicles registered under his personal name and personal insurance instead of the business with commercial insurance, it's illegal for him to be selling 3rd party insurance coverage to customers, which means that if you end up in an accident here, any claim filed under that 3rd party policy is considered fraud. He's using this to pad his profits with jacked up insurance rates for the customers, and minimizing his own insurance costs. You don't want to get mixed up in that situation. There is simply no reason to do business with this shady operation. There are lots of alternative businesses that you can find in the area offering campervan rentals.

Our Jeep Gladiator aka the most equipped ride for our camping experience in Maui. I'd be honest, we had both done camping but it was ages ago, and nothing is as easy as a rooftop tent! I was a bit hesitant going into it especially with a 2yo toddler. But I have to say Sean really helped us to put my mind at ease prior booking. His care, advice and recommendations were all on point. He answered a billion questions including a WhatsApp call with me before I even booked! All his equipments are top notch, spotless and so well equipped and maintained. What blew my mind was that he went out of his way to validate my itinerary, and secure a last min spot for me to camp at Haleakala for the sunrise because I had missed the booking due to timezone differences. He also checked in with us everyday to make sure we're ok. Please rent his car and enjoy the best way to experience Maui! We all LOVED it so much there's no doubt in my mind I'd rent his Jeep again if I were to come to Maui again...

If you're looking for the best way to explore Maui, this is it! We rented the Jeep Gladiator for 5 days in April. Sean was very helpful in picking us up from the airport and talking us through the kit. The truck itself was awesome... super comfortable, easy to drive and the rooftop tent was excellent (it's so easy to set up and take down the tent and awning). The ability to stay in more remote areas is a real plus that you cannot get from renting a room/apartment somewhere and the absolute best way to access the East of the island. Sean was an excellent host and we'll definitely be back 🤙🤙 We were able to explore every part of the beautiful island of Maui and we cannot imagine a better way to have spent our time. We would 100% recommend.

Absolutely great trip from start to finish. Sean and Anna were really helpful and responsive as we were making plans and helped us choose the vehicle that was perfect for us. We went with the Big Kahuna van because it allowed us to carry a 9 ft surfboard inside. Great choice. So many thoughtful touches (tin foil, mosquito spray, French press, great camp chairs, beach towels, and many more). They really thought of everything. The rooftop tent was surprisingly easy to set up. By our second night, it took us less than 10 minutes to set up or take down. We stayed at several of their recommended campsites. It was helpful to have their insider tips on some lesser known sites which made it easier to find availability. The orientation to the van and how to set up everything was so great. Not rushed at all. It felt like Sean would have been willing to talk to us all day about places to go and things to do on the island. Such a fantastic host!

Dream trip! Sean and Anna were so great, we rented their van for 4 days and then rented their Jeep! Truly incredible experience on the island. Sean's van is fully outfitted and so comfortable to live in! We went Hana and stayed at the campground along the black rock beach, so beautiful. So many great forever memories, thank you Sean and Anna!
