I keep calling to see if I can get a place to stay and the guy hangs up on you or he just doesn't answer his phone I've called a million times I left a million voicemails the dude never answers never responds and when he does answer he hangs up in your face
I'm a travel nurse, so I go everywhere and I have stayed in a ton of rv parks. I was traveling from North Dakota home to Alabama and the wind just got worse and worse. Ipulled off in Sloan Iowa. I didn't know it but I was right at the rv park. I called , she had a space, so I took it. The site was shaded, fairly level and a pull through site long enough that I dint have to unhitch. Due to wind I stayed 3 nights, I honestly wish I could have stayed longer. There is a convenience store next door, a dollar general a mile or so down the road, and a laundry on site. You may need a longer sewer hose depending on site, but otherwise it's great.
Most poorly priced RV park I have ever dealt with doesnt even have a shower house and gravel sites. Its an awful mess pulling out of there when its raining. For 625 a month I could get the same conditions living somewhere else for alot cheaper. Owners are nice enough but that area in general is a poor place to live in. So much more to the country other than that small town in Iowa. Nice restaurant and bar.
It was okay for a night. The sights were small but sufficient. The sewer is in a hard spot to teach, so had to use 2 houses. The lady who runs it was very nice and it was only $35 for the night. Restaurant was just a little dive. Food was not homemade, but was good and cheap. Service was nice. I would stay again for a one nighter.
Ordered the fish and chips everything was okay but clearly frozen. Decent price at $6.50 got a good amount of fries and 3 cod planks. Overall decent meal waitress was nice
