Great stop off Hwy 65. Stay in a cabin with shower. Shower is quite small. Floors are cold in Winter so bring your slippers. Beds were hard but comfy enough. Wish they had provided a coffee maker for the travelers in Winter months.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Outstanding Stay at Bowling Green KOA — Immaculate Grounds, Great Amenities & Local Icons Our stay at Bowling Green KOA Holiday was absolutely fantastic and easily one of the most enjoyable KOA experiences Bella and I have had on the road. From the moment we arrived, the perfectly manicured grounds made a great first impression—everything was spotless, thoughtfully laid out, and clearly cared for with pride. The campground feels welcoming, relaxed, and polished without ever feeling stuffy. One of the highlights is the gorgeous lake, which adds a peaceful, scenic backdrop to the entire property. Whether you’re relaxing at your site or strolling around the campground, the setting feels calm and inviting. The covered wagon cabins are a fun, charming touch and give the park a unique personality that’s perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for something a little different than the standard cabin stay. It’s one of those places where you can tell a lot of thought went into creating a memorable experience. The location is another big win. Bowling Green KOA is perfectly positioned near some excellent local attractions, including Aviation Heritage Park and Museum and the iconic National Corvette Museum. It’s an ideal base camp for sightseeing, learning a little history, and enjoying the best of the area without long drives or hassle. And of course—Bella had an absolute blast. This is a really fun, pet-friendly campground with plenty of space to walk, explore, and enjoy the outdoors together. Watching her run around, soak up the fresh air, and clearly love every minute made the stay even more special for me. If you’re traveling with a dog, exploring Kentucky, or just want a KOA that truly delivers on quality, comfort, and location, Bowling Green KOA is a standout choice. Bella and I would happily return—and highly recommend it to fellow RVers and road trippers looking for a fun, well-maintained, and memorable stop. 🚐🌊🐾

Just spent two weeks here for work and it is one of the better koas I have been to. The sites are close, but not on top of each other unlike some other KOAs where my camper fully set up is the width of the site. The staff is very friendly. Both sites I was on were essentially side to side with minimal leveling. The only con I could find was on the first site I wasn’t able to have my awning out with a fire going which wasn’t a huge deal because the patio was shaded by trees and on the second site the dog pen was in the way, but other than that I will be back here when I am needed for work down in bowling green.

This is an Excellent run KOA that is convenient to I 65. Staff always friendly and helpful. Well maintained camp sites, great pool, great doggie park==lots of activities for children and adults (on sight fishing pond and miniature golf course etc). I have stayed at KOA's on the east coast and out West and they are OK but always in some way fall a little short of the quality I consistently experience at the Bowling Green, KY KOA

We were greeted in a friendly manner by the staff, and were surrounded by trees, fishing ponds and a cute little coy/ gold fish pond near the camp store; there’s a covered area with tables and chairs there too. A fun mini golf station awaits you. Newly remodeled bathrooms with showers in a convenient location by the camp store. The jumping pad was fun for the kids. The first night we stayed in a cabin with a mini refrigerator and bathroom. The full size bed mattress was a little squeaky but the cabin met our needs. The second night we stayed in the new wagons. The king size bed was so comfortable and it was very clean and new. There was a Kurig coffee maker and mini refrigerator with freezer. The experience was great and the seating was plentiful and right next to the bathrooms and showers. The only downside is the road noise. If that doesn’t bother you, or if you have noise canceling devices, that helps. Just a little light is let in through the ivory canvas but it didn’t bother me. They sell fishing poles and live bait if you want to fish. There are many birds in the area. Great place to stay and not too far from Mammoth Caves.
