Great overnight stopover. No showers but one toilet
Nice place, peaceful for overnight or lengthy stay, no water, but has a water tank beautifully decorated (by me)one drop toilet, fairly good. Close to Glen Innes. Worth a look it's free
Ok for a night but very basic appeared to have a toilet but looked creepy also the picnic tables were very run down
Nice stop off, the place is not looked after. The bins were full and overflowing. The grass is over knee-high. This would be a lovely place if the effort was made to look after it.
Clean, spacious, flat, free camp area. Bins had been recently emptied. Pleasant, green surroundings. There was some highway noise, but did not bother me at all. There is a Windyloo toilet, no water, BYO paper. Bring a cloth if you need to use the sheltered picnic tables - they are a bit tired and could use a good pressure wash! Perfect spot for a quick overnighter when passing through, but not suitable for travellers who need power or water. Thank you to the local council/ transit authority for making this area available.
