Whistler Gulch Campground & RV Park

Easy to pull a big rig to. Nothing fancy. Its not really walking distance to main street, but trolley makes stops right at campground.

We had a site just off the stairs and an amazing view! The place was packed for Sturgis and everything ran without a hitch. The best part of the location was the trolley into Deadwood! The stop was steps away and it came every half hour. We didn't have to worry about parking, traffic or drinking! This got us to the main drag faster, safer and easier than walking or driving. The bathrooms are well-kept and clean. We received a few packages without any issues, which is not a given out there!

Nice campground, very clean restroom and shower. Pool was warm but I wasn't able to swim due to other activities. Grounds were well maintained. Loved the Trolley coming. Would stay again.

Owners are working on improving sites. They are now pretty level. Currently, sites are close together and they are in the process of merging 2 into 1. Location is quiet. There is a place to walk dogs. Deadwood trolley comes right to the CG to transport you downtown.

We stayed at the campground not the cabins. However, we met a guest who let us take a peek at the cabins. They were large and clean. Simply bed and tv. They loved it. We stayed at spot 107 and it was beautiful. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Campground was neat and maintained. The pool looked amazing. The laundry was much needed. The location can't be beat. We will be back. Great stay.
