Chris Traeger and my girl Margaret were absolutely unbelievable with the entire experience. Check in was a breeze. The rooms and the whole facility of the park was mesmerising. Chris our man was a gun in the garden and went about his hard work completely unnoticed. The coffee he made was better than a baristas. Entire experience a 10/10 and would live there if I could.

would like to highly recommend this accommodation. I chose this accommodation mainly so that we could have separate beds, which was great to have a cabin with two bedrooms and queen-size beds. Very comfortable. The cabin had a bathroom, kitchenette, and living room. Everything was very nice. The camp environment was great. We arrived before dusk and there were kangaroos near us in the camp. In the morning, we saw koalas in the eucalyptus trees. The lady at the reception was great, she explained everything to us and even told us where we could see koalas in the camp. On which trees and near which cabin numbers. There is also a small grocery store at the reception desk. It is open during the same hours as the reception desk, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is also a small gas station. Thank you very much.

Stayed 4 nights and love exploring around the area! Perfect park to explore Remarkable Rocks, Admirals arch as well as walks and hikes in the Flinders Chase national park. Sites are large and roomy. Kangaroos and koalas roam through the park! Didn’t use them but kitchen looked fab. Chris and Margaret were exceptional hosts and clearly love their job! All the staff were so friendly. Loved our time - thank you!

We camped here in October & it was by far one of the most gorgeous places we have stayed. We were allocated a camp spot but we asked the next night if we could move to a different site towards the back of the park where is was a bit more quiet, which was no problem at all. The gorgeous ladies were so accommodating & nothing was too much trouble. They were so friendly & were great for advice on what to see & do. The amenities were lovely & clean & the wildlife in the park was just amazing. Being a koala lover I certainly got my fix! We cannot wait to come back. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Our stay at Discovery Kangaroo Island was absolutely fantastic, and a huge part of that was thanks to Margaret, the Park Manager. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Margaret’s local knowledge was incredible. We were fortunate enough to spot 5 Koalas and we also seen the Cape Barren Goose. The park itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, which clearly reflects her dedication and care. It’s rare to meet someone who combines professionalism, genuine warmth, and such a passion for their work. Margaret truly made our experience memorable, and we can’t thank her enough. Highly recommend Discovery Kangaroo Island—especially with Margaret at the helm!
