Buffalo Run Campground

This was our first ever stay at Blue Buffalo. Boy, are we glad we chose to stay here! We were here as a last-minute 4-night family snowmobiling vacation. We stayed in the Willow cabin, fit our family of 5 (3 kids) comfortably with the Queen BR, bunks and sofa bed. Very quiet, clean, cozy, had all the amenities you need with the full bathroom and kitchen. Blue Buffalo offers a very affordable place to stay, conveniently located for what we were here to do. You are able to sled right from the cabins and join up with the Island Park trail system, or short drives up north to parking lots. The on-site laundry was great, nice grab and go breakfast and drink options every morning. Grocery store 10-15 min north. Friendly office staff. Highly recommend to everyone! Job well done, Blue Buffalo. You will definitely see our family again, we very much enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Blue Buffalo Resort is a top notch mountain resort with fantastic Amish Built Cabins. With a location approximately 45 minutes away from Yellowstone National Park, and located minutes from access to The Snake River, this places provides an ideal setting for a getaway 365 days a year. The cabins are comfortable, modern interiors that feature full kitchens, mini-split HVAC units keep the cabins comfortable all year. The resort offers a Pizza restaurant on-site, fire pits, ATV and snowmobile rentals, as well as, access to paddle oards and kayaks. The staff is very nice, and thoughtful. They are willing to go above and beyond to ensure a great stay. This resort even has an oddity a Nordic style plunge sauna. Each cabin comes equiped with at least one Fire TV so you can log in and enjoy your streaming services. Along with super faster WiFi. The cabins are well built. We will definitely be back to Blue In Buffalo Resort for years to come. Try this resort out during the winter "off season" and you can find incredible deals

Such a cute resort! We stayed in a Willow cabin with hot tub and it was perfection! Semi-private location, entry/patio facing away from other cabins). Although we were just a couple this cabin had so much room for a larger group (bunk beds, king bed, and a pullout sofa). We loved having a kitchen and private bath. There is a local grocer down the road a few miles and a few restaurants in area. We were there in the winter but would be amazing during warmer seasons too! Hope to come back again!

We stayed in one of the Willows cabins. Absolutely loved it. My husband surprised me for our 21st wedding anniversary. It was amazing. It was quiet. It was relaxing. The cabin.... The cabin is something I'd build on my own property. They're beautiful. The entire property is great. I can't wait to come back and see it in the spring/summer. Thank you BBR for a warm welcome, a cozy place to stay, and great memories.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible stay at Blue Buffalo Resort! From the moment we arrived, the vibe of this place was just right. The cabins were impeccable—spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax and feel at home after a day of adventure. I brought our work team here for a retreat, and it couldn’t have been a better setting. It struck the perfect balance between productive downtime and unforgettable fun. We rented snowmobiles during our stay and had an absolute blast—such an epic experience and a huge highlight of the trip. The location is ideal if you want to be close to Yellowstone National Park without staying directly inside the park. Peaceful, scenic, and still incredibly convenient. And let’s talk about the pizza—WOW. Hands down some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The crust was delicious, and the pickle pizza was shockingly amazing (trust me, get it). If you’re planning a group retreat, adventure weekend, or just want a cozy, memorable stay near Yellowstone, I can’t recommend Blue Buffalo Resort enough. We’ll absolutely be back.
