Rest Area - Kerrville, Westbound

Smaller Safety Rest Area, clean & well lit. Parallel parking, cars & 18 wheelers use the same one lane, so it can be very noisy & congested.

Great place to exercise the dog, dump our RV tank and get fresh water. Many places have dump stations but no fresh water. Thank you Texas. PS: We think dump facility needs to be serviced, it appears to be full.

This rest area was a great spot for a quick pit stop and to use the RV dump station before heading home. I’m giving it four stars because, while I really appreciate the dump station being available, the design could be improved. The pull-through spot is on a noticeable slant, which made it a bit difficult to fully empty the black and gray tanks on my camper. I had to pull the trailer up onto blocks on the passenger side to help level it out, and while that helped, it still wasn’t ideal. That said, I’m thankful this amenity is offered—it was definitely useful, just a little inconvenient. Overall, I highly recommend this rest area for anyone needing a dump station, a clean place to stop, or simply a safe place to rest. The bathrooms were clean, and parking was more than adequate.

Nice, clean place to stop. RV dump station and overnight parking. Big rigs in front so it's a little quieter in the back. Plenty of picnic tables. Great job, Texas!

Well maintained and pretty easy access from both east and west bound of I-10. If you are in need of some rest, get some fresh air, and need some snacks, it is the perfect place. There are many picnic tables to sit and enjoy the beautiful nature.
