My Beautiful Wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and we were very pleased. We stayed in a nice, clean and comfortable cabin and we were treated very well. They are adding a lot more cabins so if you get a chance you should stay here. They have many activities for adults and kids alike. Check them out online and see for yourself, and i believe you will be glad you did. We will definitely be going back this fall.
Nice family oriented place with lots of campsites and cabins to choose from. They have a cozy bath house plus laundry. They have fishing and a variety of kid friendly activities. Also if you go in the summer they have a nice sized pool to enjoy! Well don't just take my word for it, if you're in the area, go check them out.
I stayed here exactly 1 year and I also grew up visiting jellystone campgrounds and I had a lot of time spent here to observe many things and not all bad but in the end extremely disappointing. This place is not real Jellystone standards. I notice a lot of comments on here that are "good" which would be easy to say if you only stay for a short time you may miss things. So im just going to list things I observed and/or that happened to me personally. 1. I was called and berated by an employee "over leaving the campground for good and not saying good bye" even mentioning kicking us out.. we went to FL for 5 days and all our stuff was still on the lot the whole time...then tried saying I lied about the phone call and that it never happened 2. Careful with your vehicles/RV they mow rocks and clippings all over your stuff (I had a mostly rock yard surrounding my direct camper and they always came mowing on top of the rocks and yes one did hit my front tri-pod stabilizer luckily no damage done) 3. Employees tend to not keep a professional manner. I witnessed a few employees talking bad about customers in the club house in front of other customers. They also decided to have a little get together and discuss me personally (without me) and then they came up and tried telling me about it and and asking me "we all good?" So im just supposed to be ok with employees doing this? 4. Mary-jane (codeword) is an issue here. Employee hot boxing their RV. And it always smells terrible there. Some employees have voiced their concerns for the kids and having standards but doesn't seem to matter to the people in charge. Why isnt there a higher standard for your employees who live and work on property?! There is WAY more i could put in this section. Be careful who you allow around your kids in that RV! The kids there were also making my children feel uncomfortable and were bullying my kids to the point I had to tell my kids they were not allowed around them anymore. 5. Daily activities were always fun 6. Bounce houses were always up and ready for anyone 7. Everything does stay pretty well picked up 8. Fire pits were nice to have 9. My direct neighbors were awesome. One was a worker and they were always nice and professional. 10. Pool was always well maintained and they did update the furniture. There is my point of view. Over all happy to be gone
This is a nice park that’s clearly in the early stages of a big build-out to become a full-scale Jellystone campground. They currently have a mix of older and newer cabins, tent sites, and RV spots. The main draw for kids is the bounce house and jump pad, which stayed busy all day. There are also two smaller playsets, a pavilion, a large pond, a pool, a small arcade, and a general store that hosts crafts throughout the day. The staff were all very friendly, and the grounds were kept clean and orderly. Our cabin was as advertised — comfortable beds, working AC and heat, and the big plus: being able to park right next to the cabin. Everything worked as expected and made for a pleasant stay. A couple of small negatives: the bathhouse was out of order for about an hour, and the “Candy Bar Bingo” activity wasn’t clearly explained when we signed up to play. Overall, this is a pleasant, family-friendly campground with great staff and a lot of potential. I’m looking forward to seeing it continue to grow — especially with more cabins, restrooms, and kid activities in the future.
We camped here as a large group. The camp staff were polite and accommodating. There were so many activities planned for families at the campground. The facilities were clean and the grounds were well maintained. The campsites were a little snug with the neighbors, but we did not have any issues.
