Nice area for camping and day time picnic. Went on a Tuesday and the place was relatively quiet. Very peaceful and have few trails to explore. Nepean River walk is 1 hour return from Bennetts Ridge Campsite. Each camp ground close to each other. Have composite toilet facilities. National park day pass is $ 8 which could be purchased at the entrance gate pay station or online. Alternatively if f you buy the $ 65 annual pass that could be used in most of the NSW national parks which is cost effective for frequent visitors of national parks.

Easy access and well maintained, toilets and clean water available, easy access to many nearby attractions. Great campsite for families with kids but avoid it during holidays and hot days. It gets very crowded in the holidays and like jellybean pool it seems to attract the people who didn't get a wholesome upbringing, the toilets get overwhelmed and you might end up right next to a drunken gathering. In summer it's really hot offering little shade and it's a decent drive to anywhere that you can swim and cool off. In winter and autumn is really nice and quiet, just prepare for serious cold overnight and you'll be fine

Great camping area. Very clean and not too busy. Beware of kookaburras who will try to steal your food.

Spend one night at Euroka campsites and not much negative to say about the place itself except it can be a bit hard to find a level site, looks like Appletree was the most flat on. My score is based on the total experience. First impression getting to our loop, a couple of goannas and cockatoos going through bags of food people had placed on the ground and left. Food was spread everywhere and wildlife was having a field day. Next did a hike down to Nepean river along the Nepean River walking trackwhich was a nice little hike just to arrive to the river bank and finding used diapers, lots of food wrappings and drinks canisters everywhere. Based on these sightings I would say this is mostly a place for people that don’t really know how to camp — please follow the leave no trace behind motto so you leave nature beautiful for everyone.

Visited for an afternoon in mid-winter, and there were only two people in the entire campground. Lots of birds everywhere. Beautiful spot for camping. Unfortunately, I did not see any kangaroos, but still happy to have visited this place.
