We had an excellent stay at Sycamore Springs. Hotel and guest house were in great shape. Rooms were well kept and clean. it was great for our big family, and there was plenty of opportunity for family bonding We stayed in January and outside temps were in the teens and lower. The concrete floors were cold, so make sure you bring warm socks to wear. The doors and windows were drafty, which is to be expected in such an old building. Each room had a space heater to take the edge off. We found the property very pretty and would have explored some of the outside activities had it not been so cold out. I hope to return sometime in the summer!
A wonderful place for our reunion! Very clean and accommodating. We did all our cooking and there wasn’t a thing that we needed that we couldn’t find in the kitchen. Lovely place. The cold plunge was also a highlight!
We camped in campground. Very nice need to add more full service camp spots in the back area. Love all the activities, from roller skating, mini golf, pickleball, fishing, just riding bikes. And the spring mineral water.
We went here this past weekend and my kids loved it! I’m so glad someone redid Sycamore. I grew up going skating and swimming here as a kid but the family who has redone this has made it so much better! It is beautiful and has so many fun things to do! The skating rink is huge and in such a cool building. We also loved the rock water stream and slide they built. We will definitely be coming back!
We were here this past weekend for a family reunion. It was clean, safe, and 100% family friendly. We enjoyed the variety of activities (splash pad, roller skating rink, fishing, mini golf, pickle ball, tennis, basketball). There was also a nice area to set up a game of kickball or softball. The facilities were great for hosting meals for our large group. The setting is peaceful and beautiful. We also enjoyed learning about the history of Sycamore Springs and of course, we drank lots of the fresh spring water. Thanks Kent and crew!
