Easy booking process online- I was lucky and got one of the last spots the day before but booking early is very sensible- they get busy. Really nice location with beach access and sound of the waves. Beautiful sunsets. Really relaxed vibe. I felt safe here as a solo traveller. Next to a road that runs through the village. Pitches were marked out well- easy to find your space! Good mobile phone signal, access to fresh water. Showers available- cold and open fronted but I didn't mind that. Fridge available and I believe you can charge your devices at the office. Nice back drop on the other side with lots of trees on the hills.
This place is wonderful. The gorgeous beach makes an ideal camping location. My best tip is to book early to avoid disappointment. Camping just meters from the beach is incredibly relaxing. It's only about an 11-minute walk to the local pub. This was definitely one of the highlights of my campervan trip, but I can't emphasize the importance of booking in advance….Cheers!😊
I haven’t even checked in yet, and I’ve already had an experience that left me quite surprised. I booked for two nights, fully paid, and only requested to arrive one day later than planned due to urgent work. Instead of a simple “no problem” or a polite explanation, I received a rather rigid response that made me feel almost reprimanded for circumstances entirely out of my control. It’s a shame when a guest is made to feel like this before even stepping foot on site. A booking should be about flexibility and understanding, not just strict enforcement of rules.
This is such a beautiful place. The stunning beach is the perfect camping spot. The biggest advice is to book early to avoid disappointment as there are so many great spots like 42 which I was lucky enough to score which is by far the best spot! Literally camping only metres from the beach is the most relaxing thing ever, the place is very busy but had kitchen facilities that are locked and is only about a 10 minute walk from the local pub. This was definitely one of the best spots on my campervan getaway but cannot stress enough to book in advance.
Such a great location ! Massive downside are the facilities, no shower curtains, hot water or even a mirror in the bathroom was a huge disappointment for the price you pay for a non powered site. And I feel like they should close off public access considering there's a car park at the top, lots of cars parked for the day to go to the beach and on one night some kids being very loud ! Wouldn't stay again, lots of nicer cheaper spots further down at Bulli and Corrimal
