No signage on road until you are going by. Hard to find and impossible after dark. The woman who welcomed us was very kind and our site was fine…except for the infestation of crane flies! They were everywhere. You could not take one step without seeing 6 fly around. Also, what is wrong with the water? We have never experienced such foul smelling and tasting water! We kept bottled water in the bathroom, filled coffee pot and dog dishes with the water we luckily brought along. We are taking all dirty dishes home to wash when we get home.
We are camping Labor Day weekend at the campground and we have had an amazing time. Love it here. Nice quiet great Pond for swimming fishing great playground great service. I would recommend this 100% thank you moose lake. we had a great time. And no bugs no mosquitoes at all I mean, what a fantastic place
This place was peaceful beautiful and quiet, the lady was so kind and helpful. Aside from the few kids that were picking on smaller kids at the pack everything was perfect. Will definitely return.
Loved it here. We did tent camping so everything was perfect . VERY VERY NICE PEOPLE!! It's a great campground !!
Stayed here for Jonnie Nooner weekend with my boyfriend and older brother. We stayed in a tent and were perhaps the only ones who had stayed in a tent there in months. There was geese poop all over the place (they feed the geese 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️) AND THERE ARE NO ACTUAL BATHROOMS OR SHOWERS. Poorly cleaned porta potty ONLY. If you’re in a camper it’s not a big deal but as a woman trying to camp in a tent it really was unfortunate. Andrea was however very kind and welcoming, she stays in a camper there. We arrived pretty late at night, we called her and she picked up right away and directed us to our campsite. She also sold us some firewood and let us know that the campground is 4/20 friendly which is definitely a plus lol. There are also ZERO trees along ANY of the specified ‘tent area’. So if you plan to hang up tarps or hammocks good luck! Oh and if the sun is out you’re going to ROAST. So overall $35 a night for a plain unshaded campsite with electricity (a singular extension cord across the grass) it could be MUCH nicer.
