Huge clean clear fun lake. Nice size swim area, a little rocky. I have brought my grandkids here to swim and play a few times. The water is so clear you can see the little fish that swim up to you and near you. The grand kids loved that and tried to catch them with their hands and shirts. No luck but tons of memories. Went back and walked a few trails and enjoyed the views and the beautiful fall colors.
This is by far one of the prettiest state parks we stayed in. The only problem I encountered was the signage telling me to go to the the office or visitor center before checking in. The sign was after I turned into the RV park and turning around with not a good option. But other than that this was nice. Nice Park.
Huge lake with lots of open ground for swimming, boating, camping, bbq, biking and more. Family friendly, restrooms on site. Tables and chairs are equipped around certain swimming area. Beautiful lake, gorgeous area, highly recommended to come with your whole family.
Short two day stay. Clean park, nice bathrooms, beautiful trails. Showers were nice but lacked hooks and a bench inside each stall for easier use. Due to time of year and a bit of inclement weather, we basically had Campground A all to ourselves.
We had the best time during our weekend stay. The park is clean and quiet. My husband and son enjoyed fishing from the bank. We're ready to book another weekend! The park ranger was so nice and helpful!
