Lake Colac Holiday Park

We stayed at Lake Colac Holiday Park as a base whilst visiting the Great Ocean Road and surrounds. Our site was a nice, grassy, unpowered site and lakeview. I found the grass so nice, it was pleasant to walk on barefoot without any worry of bindies or weeds. As it was windy a lot of the time while we were there, having the kitchen closeby was great to cook and eat out of the weather. It is a new facility and it appeared many people took proper care to clean up the kitchen and sink after cooking. The bathroom facilities are also new and have a brilliant feel to them. The facilities were cleaned at least daily. We decided to extend our stay by a night as it was in a great location and needed to run a couple of errands in town. On customer service, Amanda was very helpful during our stay and was a pleasure to deal with when it came to any of our questions or requests. Overall, this is definitely a place we would return should we come back to the region. I would give the park 5 stars for all facilities, location, campsite and experience. The only reason for 4 is that there aren't any 'holiday' facilities such as a pool, jumping pillow, playground etc for the kids. In saying that, there is a playground closeby and a nice walk along the promenade which you can enter from inside the park.

We spent 2 nights at Lake Colac Holiday Park and had a wonderful experience. The park is quiet and peaceful, with very clean facilities throughout. The toilets were spotless, and the kitchen area was not only clean but also well-equipped with everything we needed. This is definitely an underrated park that deserves more recognition. The management team was supportive and extremely friendly, which really enhanced our stay. We will definitely be returning for our next holiday!

Staff were absolutely fantastic. They let us in after hours. We were going to camp elsewhere but they gently insisted we use their holiday park, which my family were more than happy to do. They have great toilets & showers, and a fantastic kitchen for us to use too.

Excellent camp site, staff where friendly and knowledgeable, while we camped it looked excellent for caravan's and camper vans. Facilities where brilliant, good clean toilet and shower blocks, kitchen/ dining block was a very welcome addition to our stay. Happy to recommend and we will be back.

Totally recommend this place. It's spectacular! I booked for 3 nights, stayed 5! Overlooks beautiful Lake Colac. Staff are so hospitable and new amenities so clean. Nice walk into town along the creek and botanical gardens adjacent. I never knew Colac could be a slice of heaven! IG nomadic.pickle
