great place. the owner is very nice & accommodating. if you don’t like your spot and they aren’t packed, they’ll move you. plenty of space for dogs to run around.
We hauled our 5th wheel to this location to watch an FSU game. The drive to the stadium wasn’t too far, about 40 minutes. The lot we stayed in (A1) was very easy to access, clean, and hookups worked well. WiFi: fast! Water pressure: really, really low. I’ve stayed in plenty of parks and expect lower than desired pressures to shower but this location was extremely low. I took one star away for this reason. Surrounding area: excellent to walk the dog, play fetch, etc. It’s well lit for those late night potty breaks. Front desk, check in/out process: quick and easy. Cathy was AMAZING! She was warm, welcoming, and invited our family up to the front desk area for the following morning to enjoy fresh coffee and her breakfast casserole. Southern hospitality at its best. Cathy, thank you for your kindness! Overall a nice, easily accessible, clean, and friendly place to stay. We would definitely come back to this location for more home games. Go Noles!
Me my girl. The kids would just took a one night camping trip and a place was great close enough to the highway where we felt safe with civilizations but we had an ongoing little campground. They sold us would resort for some wood. The kids enjoyed the playground and the whole campaign experience. This is a great place to take a moment to camp.Specially.If you're unexperience
I was able to make a last minute reservation with Tallahassee East. Unfortunately, I broke down a town before the campground and was unable to make my reservation that evening. I called and left a detailed message late that same evening. The next morning, I received an email that my reservation was cancelled and a full refund issued. That is why I am leaving a five star review......compassion and understanding for a situation I could not control. Thank you Tallahassee East.
Let’s be real—this is camping, not a luxury hotel. Bugs, dirt, and the great outdoors are part of the deal, and that’s exactly the charm. My family has stayed at this campground multiple times, and it’s always been a great experience. We’ve used both the deluxe and basic cabins, and each time they were clean and ready for us when we arrived. The clubhouse isn’t fancy or super updated, but it gets the job done—and honestly, you shouldn’t be spending your camping trip inside anyway. The grounds are beautiful, featuring a lovely lake and dock where you can fish or just relax. There’s also a large shared area that’s perfect for outdoor games, bonfires, and gathering with family or friends. We even used a small speaker and had no issues while enjoying the space. Shared bathrooms were clean, which is a big win when you’re camping. Overall, this place offers a solid camping experience. If you’re expecting hotel-level amenities, this may not be your thing—but if you appreciate nature and the basics done right, this spot delivers. We’re already planning our next trip!
