Dampier Caravan Park

Lovely town and all walkable from this quaint caravan park. No water hook up at each site but you can hook up to the tap near the gate and refill tanks when you arrive and again as you’re leaving.

We are camping/swag. Don’t recommend unless desperate. Pros - location, on site staff, facilities, small, quiet occupants. Negs - ground is unkept and whoever designed has never swagged, can’t park your car next to your swag site and have to park on the road even when plenty of parking is available inside, noisey from the port, cars use the road throughout the night going to the port and it’s right next to your swag site. Some minor improvements could make it better for campers.

Quiet caravan park with good facilities. People have commented on the noise from the nearby trains, however it is quite harmonious and relaxing. We had two nights of comfortable sleeping.

Really love this place. Good sized spaces, right on the water. Walking distance to pub, sailing club and town. Facilities are very clean, staff are lovely. There’s a bit of noise at some points in the night but not an issue. Highly recommend !

Location was right on the water. However, it was also just next to the mine, it's shipping port and the fright trains that ran all night! Very noisy night sleep. Also the camp lights were on all night, so recommend blackout blinds if you stay here. Nice sunsets though
