Rest Area - Mount Molloy

Enjoy camping for one or two nights max in the beautiful shaded area. Dappled sunlight through tree leaves and birds in the background create a serene atmosphere. Remember to leave no rubbish and respect the amenities. Nice to leave a donation too😊

Nice place to pull up for a cup of tea on Remembrance Day. However…. Sign “ No Camping on Council Land such as parks,reserves, foreshore, car parks, or road reserves. “ > IT IS NOT Council Land! > Local Council is the local authority to MANAGE the Land ! They do not own the land, just manage it.

Good free camp with non potable water, shaded dinning facilities. Shower and restrooms were in good condition, bins weren't over flowing and plenty off roo. To park up. $2 donations to use the facilities.

Good camping area with small block of toilets and a cold shower. I've been here three times in the tourist season in June 2025. It was busy with over 30 RVs, but the campground was large, so it was OK. Early arrival helped me to look for a good place. The $2 donation box is around the toilet block.

Great place to stay over. A lot of high trees. Clean toilets with cold showers.👍🏼 RV dump station. What else do you need! The only issue was that some ignorant refrigerator truck driver stop here as well for a night, despite they have a rest area 300m away from here and the cooling system was running the whole night. Get a life mate and let people sleep in peace:)
