Clean campgrounds, lovely trees and atmosphere. Some spots for camper trailers and caravans. Drop toilets available too.
Hopefully they have towed away this breaking bad caravan, the permanent people here are a bit weird if you stay more than a couple of days, otherwise has a nice vibe River is clean and close
A great place to camp and hike or meet up with friends and have a BBQ Or just escape the rat race for a weekend
Most of the sites are around 150-200 meters from the river, and are mostly dirt and gravel. There aren't many walking tracks nearby. But worst of all there are three permanent camp sites set up, one of which is a caravan. Lots of rubbish around, and very creepy (photos attached). Definitely would not camp near these sites. The river is fantastic, the boardwalk is very well done, and the toilets were clean. But I absolutely won't be back.
Great free campsite! Has decent phone reception- a little quieter than other sites, with spaced out obviously defined campsites, and 2 deep drop toilets. Campsite is medium, with three separate pockets or areas- the first left/slightly uphill turn has sites closer to the river. And you can bring rvs and caravans in, you can drive your cars in and park alongside your campsite. Campsites are defined by wooden poles and stones. It has built in picnic tables and fire pits with attached swinging grill plates. Most sites have fallen logs to sit on too. Bring toilet paper and your own firewood.
