Sand Lake County Park

Had grandsons birthday party here. It was in Sept. Beautiful day. The lake was beautiful 😍

Has a playground, rest rooms, grills, pavilion, beach, fishing dock, parking area, boat launch, parking, and other amenities.

I would have to say they have really taken the steps to revive this place. Beautiful areas to cook out and no more goose poop on the beach. My kids had a great time and we have found our new swimming spot just a short 15min drive from home.

I liked the lake, well needed excursions for people who have been stuck at home. Fairly clean and put together, but not very family friendly in terms of the other guests (can really blame the park for that.) You can tell they are trying here, and we will be back.

Excellent place to bring the kids for a quick swim. There’s a nice sandy beach area with picnic tables that’s right next to the parking lot for easy access. Water was super warm too in early August.
