I was disappointed today when I checked in at the pickensville campground in Alabama. We have been visiting this campground for many many years. In the past we have been able to put a cover over the picnic table until we could get our camper pulled to the site. I paid for my 14 days and preceded to set the cover over the table, when I was told that knew rules required a actual tent that you had to get into for it to qualify for it to to be considered for holding the lot. I am a Vietnam service connected 100% disabled veteran who served with the 1st Infantry 7th Artillery where a cover of any kind over my head would have been great. I have slept many nights with just a piece of anything over my head. Now after all these years I must place a tent that allows me to sleep entirely in it to qualify. I went tonight and bought a real tent to go on the lot until I can get someone to carry my camper down. I truly believe that it is wrong to penalize people for not having the most up to date sleeping product. This will be our final year and it has now been ruined for little to no reason. SO MUCH FOR HELPING VETERANS
