had a very disappointing experience before we even unpacked. the day of arrival I tried calling multiple times, none were answered. The website doesn’t say anything about 5 km of extremely corrugated dirt road. Having lived on a property with dirt roads, I know what “badly corrugated” means, and this was genuinely rough. If you’re in a 2WD and planning to drive in and out each day, you should absolutely be told what you’re in for. And the campsite looked nothing like the photos online. The website shows a peaceful meadow with a lone tent, giving the impression of privacy and open space. In reality, the camping area is set right on the edge of a wide dirt road, very close to the next group of campers. On the other side of that road is a green mosquitoey pond. We explained at check-in that we couldn’t drive our 2WD on that road multiple times a day without risking damage. We were told to contact Belinda. We politely explained everything and mentioned that we had to book another campsite last-minute at the same cost. Her response was that the website describes the place as “nature-based”—which was unhelpful, considering we’d stayed at around 10 nature-based campsites during our road trip, none of which resembled this situation. In the end, we received no refund and were left feeling misled by the photos and the lack of crucial information. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering staying here be aware of the road conditions, the close quarters, and the reality of the camping area.

5 kms of really badly corrugated dirt road that really takes it out of a normal sedan (although the owner says that that's irrelevant because her employee has a 2 wheel drive) to end up being offered a campsite two metres from the next person and 4 metres from a green, slime covered stagnant pool just humming with mosquitoes. No one answered the phone all day ( called about 8 times to check the same, said road). Owner says we were supposed to understand that the road could be really bad because it was a "nature-based" campsite. We had booked for 3 nights but just left after 5 minutes. No apoligies, no refund.

One of my best camping spots on this trip. Got a homestead site along the river - lovely and quiet. Even though both sites either side me were occupied, it still felt very private and secluded. Safe enough for solo travel.

Grotty furniture on verandahs and in camper's lounge. Camper's kitchen was outdated and very basic, jug was grotty too. Showers were old but functional. BBQs were ok. Belinda was friendly. They comment that it is not a tourist park but charge like a tourist park for unpowered sites. Sites were uneven but views were nice. The echidna was special.

Had an amazing few days camping at the homestead on our way back heading south. We did the 4x4 track and it had magnificent views. We will definitely be back for bush camping. Our daughter was thoroughly impressed with the goats and we even saw an enchida in camp. Thank you for sharing your spectacular property.
