This is a great place really perfect. The cabins are very nice but could certainly use some upkeep rotted floor in bathroom mouse poo 💩 in the kitchen cabinets rusty fridge but we made it our own while we were there. Awesome trails for long perfect walks.
Trails were a bit narrow around the lake. Playground could use some updating, but the kids still had fun. They have camp sites and cabins available for rent, but the website wasn't working so we couldn't access the information.
Great local resource for walking and running. Very pleasant and long trails around the lake. Can't provide an opinion on the lake itself as I've never used the lake or beach but it looks nice.
I’ve got a fun idea for us! How about we go for a walk and explore some of the beautiful nature trails around here? There are a few different ones, and they’re all up to 5 1/2 miles long. We can walk through the woods, enjoy the fresh air, and maybe even spot some wildlife. And if we’re feeling adventurous, we can even take a dip in the lake at the end. It’ll be a great way to relax and unwind.
Excellent camping experience, just 40 minutes away from Philadelphia. Lots of fun things to do for trail walks, biking and even horseback riding. There is a lake near by. Dog friendly and excellent for kids too. All amenities at the site from public restrooms, running water to picnic tables. State park police is always on the lookout to keep everyone safe. Definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway
