Eyre Depot Camp Site

Very exposed site on the Heysen Trail. Has water tank, small shelter and seat, additional bench seat, camping platform / bench, toilet and firepit. Solar phone charger / lights were not working. There are a few cleared sites amongst the rocks to pitch your tent. There is nowhere to shelter from the wind.

Do not try to go here with a car.

Exposed and windy, but flat with platform, water, phone charging station and long drop toilet. On the Heysen Trail. Long way from anywhere and lots of wildlife.

Sublime campsite but water tank was empty. 12km north to Mount Arden 12km south to Dutchman's Stern. Some water available in Depot Creek upstream but polluted by goats.
