Our site was so spacious with panoramic Mountain View’s. He kindly took us in last minute. Thanks. This is a OHRV’s dream campground. We’ll be back.

It's a perfect place for people who want to jump on their utv/ wheelers and just ride. The staff is great and is there if you need them.

Had a great time visiting last weekend! A group of us rented a couple sites to go tent camping. Will absolutely be back again. Pros: -Affordable -Owner friendliness/communication -ATV trail access -Privacy between campsites -Great cell reception -Porta potties -Water station -Dump station My only suggestion would be to create an online map, or at least descriptions of the site locations. Our campsite worked out great, however we didn’t know how low it would be. Luckily for us the rain held off until Sunday morning when we were packing up to leave.

I wanted to give this place a glowing 5 star review. The 3 stars is for the friendliness of the owner which for me, goes a long way. I knew when I booked that it would be “primitive” camping however the accommodations were inadequate even going in with that caveat. If you read no further - here’s a pro/con list. Pros ATV trail accessibility Privacy of campsite Phone accessibility Quiet hours Cons Mud. So much mud. No site map online Broken picnic table Porta potties Small site for the price point Owner communication/honesty I booked the tent site for $35 a night. There was no site map online, so I called to inquire about the sites available. The owner was knowledgeable and recommended a few, stating that 37 was small but private with a little patch of grass. Perfect, no problem there. The problem comes in that the higher the site number, the farther into the park you go. Near the beginning of the park the roadway is not bad. As you get farther in the roads are awful, with lots of rocks and mud. We were concerned that our F250 would get damaged at certain points - we came there to use our four wheelers not for off roading with our truck! The entrance to site 37 was a mud pit - no mention of this or road conditions over the phone. Our F250 got stuck several times in the mud. The mud was so bad we couldn’t walk out of the site much less our entire shoe be covered in mud. Frustrated in all of this because it would have been nice for the owner to mention over the phone. After we got situated, the site itself was cute, cozy, private, with one neighbor across the street. Small firepit and picnic table on site. The picnic table was dirty, covered in ash and some bird poop, and one board on the firepit side was completely loose and my fiance almost fell off the table when sitting on it. All things said - we had a good time, you can’t beat the location, and the owner was nice, and was available for a late checkin for us if needed. I’m sure if we mentioned our concerns with the site they would have helped us anyway they could, perhaps moving to a different site, however we didn’t want the hassle of packing and moving all of our stuff. I would be interested in coming back here if conditions were different - maybe better weather would help a different site. There’s definitely room for improvement.

Primitive camping, forcing people to enjoy the finer things in life. Sites are nicely spaced. Right on the Yamaha connector trail. Fantastic owner operated campground. I love it here!
